F. A. Q.

Q: Can we view a wedding DVD sample?
A:  It's company policy that we do not send out copies of other couples weddings the reason is that we believe in complete client confidentiality. This gives you the assurance that your wedding DVD / Photographs would not be sent out into the public domain. Companies that send out sample DVD's normally only send samples that have been cut back from the original, leaving just the best bits in. You need to have a chance to see many example DVD's where you can jump to any scene. There is no guarantee that the sample sent out will look like the one you viewed, each wedding is so individual. We have a number of samples on this site to give some ideas.  Please check out our on-line samplesAs it's such an important day for the both of you we do like to meet up with you both for a no obligation consultation, at this time we can show you any number of DVD's / Photographs that we have been commissioned to do over the last 14 years.

Q: How long have you been  filming weddings and taking photographs?
A: Over 14 years.

Q: How long do you spend on preparing my wedding photographs / Wedding DVD
A: Depending on package booked we normally spend five full  working days on final post production editing,  authoring and checking of photographs and DVD.

Q: How long after the wedding before I get my video / photographs?
A: 2-4 weeks depending on the package chosen. It might take longer during our busy periods.

Q: What format are the supplied photographs?
A: All photographs taken use the cameras RAW format. (maximum quality) All photographs supplied are checked and basic cropping and adjustments made. When we are making up the album further adjustments (colour correction / cropping ETC) will be made as required. Photographs will be supplied on DVD in the JPEG format. It's your responsibility when using a photo lab of your choice to make any adjustments that you require.

Q: What happens if one of your cameras breaks down?
A: We always carry additional cameras with us.

Q: What happens if the camera heads go faulty during the important parts of the day.
A: New for 2009 our main cameras are equipped with the latest CF digital cards so that we are recording both to tape and CF card simultaneously.

Q: In the unlikely event that you are taken ill what back up do you have?
A: Being a member of the Institute of Videography and also a member of the Guild of photographers, we only have to put a call out for help and there are many qualified members that would be able to step in and film / photograph your wedding.

Q: Will you come early on the wedding day?
A: Yes. We always arrive at least one hour before the time of the service.

Q: How will you be dressed?
A: We always wear appropriate suits. We try our best to blend in and look like just another guest.

Q: What happens if my service or speeches last a long time?
A: We appreciate that sometimes the service (especially the church service) and speeches, do go on for a long time and accordingly we do have to edit down to accommodate the running time of the DVD.

Q: How well do you work with the photographer?
A: We pride ourselves with having worked with some of the best photographers around and have never had any problems. It is always advisable to inform your photographer that you are having a professional film being made of your wedding and that you expect him / her to be tolerant of the fact. We do offer a photographic package using our own photographer.

Q: Can we  sit in on the editing or arrange changes after I receive my DVD.
A: As we work to a strict  work schedule throughout the year that ensures all our couples receive their wedding DVD  within the stated time. Trying to arrange a suitable time for each couple to sit in on the edit would not be feasible. We also cannot provide a preview DVD  for the same reason as above. The time taken by sending out a preview DVD, storing all the information on our computers, couples watching it, changing something, sending it back, making changes to  the edit, creating another DVD  and having that approved again is simply not possible. To offer the above service would mean that we would not be able to keep to our competitive price structure. Even companies that charge a lot more, do not offer this service.  If you do wish to have an input into your final edit this can be arranged, but only during our less busy periods of January & February for an additional charge of £850.00. You also need to allow yourself at least three working days with us.

Q: Will we be the first to view our wedding DVD / Photo CD
A: Yes, it's our policy to only send out additional orders after you have received and viewed your copies.

Q: How much is the Videography / Photographic booking fee?
A: £100.00

Q: What if I should have to cancel?
A: We regret that your booking fee is non-refundable. We do recommend that you take out wedding insurance to cover all eventualities.

Q: What next?
A: To arrange a viewing, please fill in the availability form  or telephone
